County Government of Marsabit wishes to recruit competent and qualified citizens to fill the following positions as per the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the County Government Act 2012 Sections 59(b) and section 86
CGM07/20/08/2020: Artisan II(Plumber) (Job Group F) – 11 post
Terms of Service- Permanent and Pensionable
Responsibilities
Undertake plumbing, test & inspection and complete testing and inspection sheets
Reporting any problems encountered on site to the supervisor
To assist the onsite TWG team in the completion of tasks in a timely fashion and to a high standard
Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs
Conduct full water Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in both residential and non-residential properties
System checks for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
Undertake the Installation and repair of domestic plumbing and borehole pumps, booster pumps pressure tanks and geysers.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements for Appointment
Be Kenyan citizen
Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III/II/I in the area of specialization (Plumbing); and such other relevant qualifications.
Certificate in plumbing from a recognized government institution (Preferably Government trade test III, II & I).
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and result
Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of constitution of Kenya 2010
